Anyone else have "yellowing" of their headlights?
2004 RX330 has / had yellowing. I ordered a 3M kit and extra sand paper attachments to use today. Took me about an hour or so but the end result was much much improved. If you have a drill that you can use, this kit works. Order some extra sand paper swaths that attach to the Velcro attachment bit. Tape the area well and go to town.
I wet sanded mine most of the time even though the instructions say you don't have too. End result is much better than the yellow headlights I had. I recommend this to anyone willing to try for this problem.

Some suggestions regarding headlight restoration... I'd use a permanent sealant on the lenses after sanding and polishing as this process will remove the original UV protection. Failing to restore the original UV protection most likely will have the headlights back in that yellow looking condition in as little as a month or two.
Some headlight restoration kits come with this sealer included others do not. There are several headlight sealants made specifically for this purpose.
I've had good results removing the yellowish tinge just using PlastX with a PC and no sanding. I like using the least aggressive approach needed to accomplish the task and this is sound advice for all detailing. Of course if your headlights are pitted and heavily oxidized sanding is needed, but if they are clear but just yellow tinged, I'd try the polish only route first.
