Make sure your "New Spare" will clear the front brakes! That is important.....

I bought a Supra TT spare tire. It works fine and fits in the well at the rear of the truck

I bought an OEM spare with cover and fitted mat online at a very reduced price, but have yet to use it because my RFT's still have fairly good tread on them. Now that I have this set-up along with AAA 100 mile towing service, the real question is where do you put the flat tire and rim after putting on the spare. If your on a two day road trip up the coast for instance, with just some luggage, that may be a problem. It's also probably a good idea to carry a hefty bag to put the flat tire and wheel in, assuming you have enough room in the trunk or in the back seat.
