Default 2003 Scoop?

Do I have a scoop or have I not been lurking enough? I picked up a 2003 brochure yesterday and noted two trim items new for 2003. One is a WHEEL CONVERSION KIT which replaces the "flying saucer" center hub cap with a spoke unit. It is pictured on page 39. The other is a BLACK PEARL EMBLEM KIT which is not pictured.

Has anyone seen these black pearl emblems on other models and do you think they would go well with the indigo ink pearl?

Default hey!

I don't suppose someone could 'scan' a picture of that new SC430 rim option? Anyone? I'd like to see it myself!

Also, the 2003 SC430 will have a Lexus Link option ...all colors are carried over from '02...no mention about the new wheels on my paperwork...

The Northeast coast will most likely NOT see Lexus Link on SC430's because, and I quote, "due to the look of the antenna".

I am happy that there are very few changes for '03. It makes me feel like I drive an exclusive vehicle. I do however think we will see a SC330 next fall with the new 6 cylinder engine. oh well, Cest la vie.

EEK! Having taken a few pictures of my own, I can tell you that it's not the black pearl emblems. It's the low angle it was shot from.

It's not my place to make the correction, but I saw an MR2 today.
As a convertible owner myself, I've been surprised at how many I've seen without their tops down. They must not be as much fun as the SC430's. At any rate, compared to the S2000s, the MR2s look too much like toys -- an unfair comparison from any angle!
