Default New rims :)

I wanted to share pictures of my new wheels and wheel spacers with everyone. I'll soon have my drilled and slotted rotors put on and tint those side (orange and red) signal lights, and will take more pictures. The specifics: 20", 8.5 width all the way around. +43 offset. 245/35ZR20 tires. 20mm spacers in the front, 30mm spacers in the rear. The tires rub when the spacers are on, during tight turn and over bumps. Without the spacers, there is no rubbing. Stock height. Blue painted calipers with black decals. Let me know what you think:

Yesterday I complained about that thumping noise, it was because the spacer wasn't securely tightened, it had very slight wiggle room which I believe was making the noise. Now that it's tightened I didn't hear the noise. I really like the look of the spacers. It was either no rubbing and no spacers, or rubbing with spacers, i went with the latter.

There you go. It was the spacers after all. You have to torque them to specs.

You were hearing stumping but did not feel that you had vibration? Seems like one of the wheels was not fully seated on the hub and probably not torqued to 80 ft-lbs?

Weird thing is, I didn't feel any vibrations at all and I was driving up to 80 MPH. Just that thumping noise when I coasted...No, they weren't properly torqued

But all is well now, I like the look of it so far.

if you would have used 225s all arond you wouldnt have rubbing i think...my is250 is running 235s all around and my sc430 is running 225 front and 255 rears. Im going to do 10mm spacers front and 20mm rear on the is250 and probably the same on the SC430...which spacers are you using? Im also wanting to paint my calipers but I might have a shop remove them and do it if I can find a place.

Thanks, bacardi.

Fronts are 20mm Ichiba, rear are 30mm Kics. I bought them used from an SC owner on here. My rears dont rub, only the fronts.

Looks real good Redliner8. Real Good! "I" think "I" would have gone with white lettering, but that's me. Makein' the Pa. boys look real good. Imagine how much you could have gotten done over the winter if you didn't have all the snow to move. lol

sell the 20mm and get a smaller spacer or run a different tire with a slight stretch and you should be fine.
