Default Cabin Filter Surprise.. SIGH!

We just receive delivery of our SC430.. I bought parts and was ready to change it out. Look what I found upon changing out the cabin filter.

First Issue.... someone didnt reinstall everything correctly..

Second issue.. they used the wrong damn size filter.. there was leaves everywhere so I am sure its in the system now too..

Installed with the correct size filter...

I just bought mine from someone on the board, I really like it, the cars sounds great so it's definitely worth it IMO, keeps the car quiet at low rmps, but when your accelerating it sounds great!

Is the K & N filter hard to install? I was searching the forum for bits of info and it looks as if I might try this. Does anyone have a link to the actual part that I need? This would save me additional time in searching so I can spend more time on the forum! lol

No. Four flip up clips hold the top of the housing. Just drop in the new filter into the air cleaner housing. http://store.knfilters.com/search/pr...x?Prod=33-2220

Bob is correct

Also just changed the oil today with Pennzoil full synthetic and a Wix oil filter. I feel 100x times better now knowing the car has clean oil.

Nothing beats clean oil running through the guts of the SC! How about your powere steering fluid and tranny fluid?
