Man, I haven't posted a new thread on here for a long time now. Anyway, just wanted to share something for you all. Today, I got a detail from Shyningstar Mobile Detailing (family-operated). I didn't know what to expect from a $55 exterior detail deal (includes wash, clay, buff, & wax) from livingsocial.com. I figured I would give it a shot, and you know, I was a quite impressed with the results. The guys did everything pretty thoroughly as you would normally expect from a detail service. Surprisingly, the products they used are all chemical boys products which is some great stuff. Anyway, hurray for my car being clean and shiny again! Enjoy the pix below and let me know what you think.

I'll let you know when I see another one of those deals.
Good price for what you got. Keep in mind that all of the stuff they did you "could" safely do yourself. I have used clay bar on a lot of my vehicles and with a hand wash/wax there is a lot of labor involved. If you want to see "magic" go to a professional detail shop and let them attack it with their buffers and skill. You will be amazed at the hairline scratches/imperfections that will be removed and the depth they can give the paint.
