Default burnt wire harness--need help identifying necessary parts

Hello,
I enjoy this forum, tons of information available.

As stated the driver side headlight's harness has either been burned or just mangled.

Need help finding out what parts I should search for to splice into the harness.

Also any help in locating the parts would also be great.

In the Pics....

I need to know where to get the fog light harness shown in picture...
The parking lamp housing adapter....
Also any suggestions for an auto-leveling headlight motor.

Thanks.

Well hello.
I have read many responses from you, glad to see you're still on the forum.

I purchased this car from someone and was told "it just needs a bulb".

Unfortunately I got this going on as well as the common error3 on the cd changer.

Not sure if I can find these connectors to splice into the harness or purchase a new one inside of another conversion kit.

The hard part is to find that adapter that holds the little bulb inside of the main headlight housing for the parking light.

Dealership says 1200 for a new engine harness....

They did show me this diagram, but did not say if they could offer any of the pieces individually.

Sounds like you really need to go in and see the "parts" guy at the your local Lexus Shop. Or spend $15 for 48hours of access to TIS and go through this yourself. I think the parts guy would ultimately be faster and, if he get the wrong harness, on the hook to take it back.
I took a look through my 02 FS Electrical Wiring Manual it has the diagram you posted above.. Now the bad news, there are 12 pages of "wiring connectors" with up to 30 different types on a single page. Yep, I know, it crazy to have that many . That's why you'll need to go in and spend some time with a KNOWLEDGEABLE parts guy.

Or if you have a whole lot of work you could pick one up: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

The OP has not mentioned what happened to the car. Very interesting.

81125-24110 is the part number for the parking lamp housing adapter

basically, the diagram the dealer gave you tells you the code numbers of the connectors.
F1-10, G1-2, H1-13.

If you know which one you are looking for in code number, a few of us here who have the oem electrical wiring diagram or parts catalog can tell you the part number.

it hurts my eye to compare your pics to the images shown in my connector list.

Thanks for the input.

Yeah I looked through lexuspartsnow website....not much help for connectors, although they did have the parking light adapter for the bulb.
Thanks Talwang.

The diagram that I uploaded off of TIS shows the harness reference numbers:
I believe I would need:

F1 - Front Fog Light LH
F3 - Front Parking Light LH

Yeah, unfortunately the closest Lexus dealership/shop is about 2 hours from where I live, so that is possibly why they emailed me the diagram from their service shop.

I'm not sure what year your car is but....

F1 part name is "Front Fog Light LH" and number is 90980-11003 from my 02 FSM wiring book.
F3 part name is "Front Parking Light LH" (RH uses the same part #) the number is 90980-10887.

If you can ID the connector as you did above, the corresponding number is in my book. Or, if you use TIS (2day account is $15) you should have immediate access to this info by make, model, year.

Yes VTIBob
the two parts are
90980-10939
-10931

Dealership said one of them showed up as having to do with the horn? --Though even with this just dangling the horn on my car currently works...

The other connector they said was not a part in their system....I assume that it is the larger connector with the 6 wires into the back of it...

I dont know if this came factory installed or someone wanted to add a jumper of some sort.

Appreciate the checking in on my post.

10939 is H3 - "Headlight Cleaner Control Relay"
10931 is not part of my 2002 but is part of 2003. What year is your car?

You should also go here: http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/compone...2-02-4423.html if your car is a 2003 year model.

The horn connectors on the 2002 are 90980-10619 according to my book. Oh and BTW the car has 3 horns. A high and low for the "regular horn" and a third for the security system.

If we may ask, what happened to the car?

My guess is the previous owner wanted to do the 06+ headlight conversion and deleted the headlight washer, but failed.

Since the previous owner only did one side, you can compare both sides and figure out exactly which ones are missing or nonworking.
