Rims with or w/o a Step on the Lip?

thanks. i like those wheels. i prefer the step lip. but both look good.
you'll probably want to do something about your brakes too with that style of wheel. once you put them on, you'll see stock brakes are pretty ugly. rusted rotors and grey, unfinished calipers. a bbk would be ideal. for less money, you could replace the rotors and add caliper covers.

So just before I read your reply I was checking some out. Now this "caliper" covers option sounds intriguing (as a temporary solution till I save some dough to purchase a new house)...please, tell me more (or please point me to a good source about them).
Thanks again!

here's where someone did generic covers.

they're a little cheesy, imo. but they look better than stock. i just wouldn't do the fake brembo covers. anyone who knows about cars will know they're fake.
you might also keep an eye on the classifieds in case anyone is parting out their car. might be a good way to pick up a bbk cheap.
