Does anyone know if the Auto Couture kit for the SC430 actually lowers the overall height of the vehicle from the original stock height or does it remain the same height? I just want to make sure that the front end will be safe from scrapes, especially since the car is lowered. Here's a pic of the kit...

Thanks Manaray! I figured I'd hear from you on this subject. I just want to make sure I don't f*@# up the front end of the kit, especially since I will have the Tein coilovers on by then. I'll send Auto Couture an email and see what they say.

Thanks Gene,

I saw a pic of your SC with the Tein's at F1...looks tight! How much did you lower the front/rear? Any problems with clearance (i.e.- dips, driveways, etc...)?

Here's the response that I received from Auto Couture...

"Thankyou for your inquiry.
Considering the overall height for the Lexus SC430
front bumper spoiler, we assume that it does not change
more than an inch, but maybe it would become a littlebit
lower than the factory bumper.
We do not have the stock bumper right now so
this is just an estimation but I hope this helps."

Looks like Gene and Manaray are right on...about an inch at the most. Might be a problem if the front is already lowered 1.75"
