It's my avatar but it's rather small image. I'll send you one later this evening.

Okay, by the picture, it looks like you put the tape on the front side of the cluster's face? Why wouldn't you put it on the back side over the LED???

It was easier, could easily target the location.

Putting it behind the cluster face would be difficult. Imagine trying to pry the cluster plate?

Also putting it on the pocket of the LED, I am sure all light will be blocked. The trick was to be able to lay it down square. I used twissers (supplied by my friend darnot10, thank you).

So, if you look closely you must be able to see the black tape on the face of the cluster as it's smooth and the cluster's face has texture to it?

By the following statement it sounds like you are putting the tape on the back side of the gage face?

"Peak under the right side indicator, peel off the right upper corner, your target is the 2nd hole from the left."

I guess I'm a bit confused???

When you lift the the black dial plate, you will see the backplate (white). You will see square blocks and LED lights on this backplate.

Your target is the 2nd to the left LED square. Put the tape over the square hole. You can eyeball this square, refer to my picture with the arrow.

I tried to take a pic of this backplate but could not, no assistant (the wifey was busy) to hold up the black dial face.

Okay, this makes me feel 100% better...so the tape "does" go underneath the black dial over the second hole. So, basically once put back together you see "NO TAPE" and "NO LIGHT"! Am I correct now???

Looks like you have all the parts....you may need some fasteners if you break the ones on there, depends how brittle they are and how old your car is as well as the elements it's been exposed to. Mine being a So Cal and Texas car the pieces had plenty of play and I didn't break any.

I'm looking at my receipt from 3/15 2010 and it shows $190 for the big lens and $92 for the smaller, which is the big difference...and that was with my CL discount. Nice job!!! My total was $664

Correction: I paid EXACTLY $600 because the discount was 10% so $64.66 off it....sorry I just looked at the bottom line payout by the cashier. So you are still $12 cheaper...great job!
