the wait was well worth it
I just picked up my indigo/ecru today at 4pm est, ive had my car a grand total of 4 hrs and 17min. and im *gushing* with joy. everything positive of the car ive heard is true. m you all probably know how i felt when i realized that i would have to get out of the car sooner or later
im goin to try to take some digital pictures tomorow if its sunny out. ive only recently joined these forums, and ive read a bit here and there, and this seems to be a warm and pleasant place to post and read. well ill be signing off now.

Magus- congrats on your new SC. I've had mine since 4/5/02 and I still feel like I just took delivery of the car everytime I start it up. Enjoy your car and all the stares you wil be recieving! Now, time for you to replace the stocks with some 20's!!!

Congrats.. When its a nice sunny day have the top up and drive out to a busy intersection that is at a stop and lower your roof.. Truly priceless the stares you will get..
Words of wisdom especially on your Indigo Paint.. Look into getting 3M clear film protection for your front end (Xpel or Stoneguard are the popular suppliers) if you haven't already..

how do i post jpeg's? because i tried to show some pics of my car but wheni hit preview post, it had my text but didnt show the pictures. do i have to upload? (and how?) or am i attaching the file wrong?

If you want to attach a photo to your post, you can do so at the bottom of the post where it says "ATTACH FILE"...however, the max size is 102400 bytes (100K)...
If you want to LINK a picture (say from another site), you can use the IMG button which is located above the "text box" when you post a message...

Sorry, folks, but I can't agree.
The photo is excellent!
As a Midnight Pine owner that requires a sunny day to tell that it's green at all (and thank God for Spring!), I love the Indigo Ink in that it at least looks blue even under lower light.

Egyptian Sand/Saddle in TWO WEEKS!!!
So much for waiting for an '03!!!
My '02 Egyptian Sand/Saddle should be at the dealership in two weeks. Somebody backed out at another dealership, so the car (currently in transit) is being redirected to me! When I started filling out paperwork Friday, they said it should take 4-6 weeks to redirect a car to their dealership in my color choice. Half way through the transaction they said, "You won't believe it, but someone backed out and your car can be here in two weeks."
I'm having the dealer install LoJack and 3M front end mask. I ordered floor mats, dash cover, and sun shade from JC Whitney. I have already received 3M headlight covers from Griot's.
If anybody's curious, I was told that 165 SCs were sent to our five state area (Texas, and whatever other 4 make up our zone) this past month and only 10 were Egyptian Sand and only 4 of those were Saddle. Sorry I don't have the breakdown for other color combos except that I was told 54 of them were millenium silver. I thought that was interesting info.
