I like these wheels. Any thoughts on how an IS setup would fit on an SC430?

I think those Advan's are $1150 per wheel.. not the price of one set.

these would fit the SC nicely...however I think you can do much better on price, depending on what your goal is. Stay close to oem look? Go aggressive? Be able to rotate all four tires?

I also think for the $1500 price range you can get a nice 20" wheel/tire package.

Do you want the gunmetal colored wheels? If so, there are tons of great wheels.

19's on the SC look ok, but to really do it right you should consider the 20".

For the money, I'd rather buy the 18" g-spider lexus OE wheels and put some nice tires on my SC than put those for $1500 plus tires if you want to stay oem-look. Just my two cents. I noticed you are in NJ...not sure of the road quality, but you may want to consider a nice oem 18" g-spider wheel and some nice michelins instead of going larger with smaller sidewalls. Rough ride over potholes! Here are the g-spiders:

Thanks for the advice SCDrop... My goal is to make the car unique but in a refined way. The look I am trying to get close (though in black) are these https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...for-my-sc.html. Budget is definitely a consideration. I am looking to spend <$1,500 (for 4 wheels).

Regarding the wheel size I would consider 20's but I don't want the ride quality to suffer for looks because I think that 19's look fine. I may be incorrect that there is a tradeoff between wheel size (which will prob require a thinner sidewall) and comfort.

Any suggestions are well appreciated!!!!

Thanks,

Hate to lean on you guys so much for advice on this one issue but I just dont "get it" when it comes to wheel/ tire sizing. Now looking at a setup with the following measurements:

20x8.5 +32
20x10.5 +30

How would these fit on an SC430?

Thanks in advance once again.

assuming they're the correct bolt pattern, they'll fit. they're even a bit conservative. one thing you should know about running 10.5 in the rear is it will drain your torque. it'll be a bit slower off the line.

There's a great sticky at the top of the page by Rominl that you can gain quite an education in wheel fitment for these cars. Just an fyi

I have 19" TSW I live on Long Island and have already gone through 2 wheels 1 tire and a new cross member in these New York streets. I think its a combination of being aluminum and the size. I should've listen to my wife and stuck with 18". just my 2 cents
