I need some advise from the PRO's. I have a set of 18x8 G-spider wheels that I would like to put on my SC430. I was thinking of putting a 10mm spacer on the front and a 25mm on the rear. I wanted to wheels to look staggered and also fill out the wheel wells more. However I am concerned about rubbing or sticking outside of the wheel wells. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am not lowered. I have the stock wheels on, with 25mm in the rear with no problems. I believe that the spiders have the same off set as the SC stock wheels. 45. Check the back side of the wheels so that there is a relief for the car's lugs to set in when you bolt the spacers on. Should have the same relief as the stock wheels. In case you still have your spider's on your LS, I just checked the spiders I have in theirs boxes (that are also for sale) and they do indeed have the reliefs neccessary for spacer installation. That is, if you are using Ichiba V2 style, you would need that. Which are the ones that bolt onto your hubs and then you bolt the wheels to it. I read somewhere that either 15 or 20mm studs get too long and won't be strong enough to withstand the forces put on the lugs. But you can check that out if you want. I believe I read it on ebay on one of the sellers sites. Sorry, don't remember which one. Hope this helps. By the way, they get torqued the same as your wheels. I believe 76ftlb. But check that out too.

No I don't any spacers in the front. I am thinking about getting some soon. I'm thinking 25mm in the front also. I would check some other threads here in the forum, I believe that there was something somewhere on what fits. If you are thinking 10mm or 15mm, I don't see any problem. Before I installed the spacers on the rear I test fitted them on the front, I didn't drive the car, but there was plenty of space. I didn't forsee any problem.

 

I just installed H&R 20 mm in the front and 30 mm in the rear. Looks stunning. I would recommend at least 10 mm difference as the rear wheels sit quite inboard at the factory configuration.

I have only moved the cars a few meters on the premises as the car is parked for the winter.

I'm interested in the 20/30 set up too, but can't find anyone that sells the 30mm. I bought a set on ebay(24ibuy.com) but they never delivered ...took me months to get my money back! Dragnet, do you have a source? How long ago did you buy your H&R's?

 

Running 20/30mm spacers do you have issues with the inside of the tyres wearing out faster than the other parts of the tyre?

 

You should have no issues with tire wear with the spacers outside the normal SC430 tire wear.
