I knew i would have a reply from Larry..

What i mean was with Fun Factor, it never dies... R/T gave it a 10 for fun factor and the CLK a 8...

As in price though, the price drops faster than that of a mercedes sl... even though the prices are very different... The percentage drop is higher in the lex. than in the SL is what i am trying to say...

And trust me, i am not raggin on the SC at all... its the same with any lexus car...

Question Confused??????????

How would one know that the price drops faster than the clk, since the new convertible SC hasn't been available prior to the 2002 model? The dealer in Knoxville, TN, where I purchased mine, had a used SC on the showroom floor with 8,000ish miles and it was priced at the same price as the brand new ones. The salesman said that it wasn't unusual to find used SC's at the same price as new because of the supply and demand and the luxury tax had already been paid. This was just in April of this year. Whatever.

it all comes to supply and demand...my work place, longo lex, 2nd largest in the US, have one of the best qty supply in the country, this means that mgrs are ready to deal...it is amazing to see so many SCs lined up for guests to choose...

the fact that the sc is priced under MSRP is a dead giveaway... the sl has not been sold for under msrp at all, in fact the mark up is almost 10k over... so theres a dead giveaway right there...

lets just end the conversation here... atleast in los angeles this seems to be true... if you dont agree, then email me at toog4me@aol.com... i dont want the entire sc430 board hating me.
