Default What are these extra lights for ??

Interestingly I am sitting in parking lot facing a storefront on the phone.

Playing with my lights I noticed that the top lights do not work regardless of what I did.................I felt like a dumbo since I have owned this SC since 2002 and this is the first time I noticed it.
I hit the manual and lo and behold there is nothing I could find about them either.

Anyone have an idea of the lights function or what they were intended to be or do...............might be a special config for Canada or Japan.

Ah, guess I did this in the daytime , will play with it at night.......thanks Aquanuke..........spend too much time driving and too little time playing.

Maybe in 10 years more I will get it all down.

Theres a little sensor on top of dash that detects the light conditions as well

Like a moron I left Lexus with my Tech laughing.........the lights are my directionals............duh.

Not that I ever look at them up there..............all the other cars have them on the bumper......not the top headlight area.

Mystery solved.

That's okay...I just discovered after three years that the little silver button by the shifter and the heated seats was a coin tray opener! I wonder if we polled this how many CL SC430 owners really know that? It's kind of cool. I felt like I had discovered a new feature...like belly button lint!
