Today, I got to school at 9am and left to home at 6pm only to find that someone had keyed my beloved sc430 on the drivers side approx 5ft. I am very angry at whoever did this to my car, not to mention that I had my parking space jacked at school, while I was waiting for the person to back out, once yesterday and twice today.

I'm really frustrated and I don't know what to do. Anyone care to give me suggestions on what to do next?

 

if it's not too deep, scratch remover might be able to conceal it. i'd start with that. then have it professionally polished if that doesn't work. aside from that, donate to kids with cancer or kittens with small pox. a little good karma never hurt anyone.

 

will you post before and after pictures of what you decide to do.

 

I'm still figuring out what to do, I wanna repaint it...but school comes first. Here are some pics

That's deep. you'll need a repaint but I'll wait til I finish school or get a cheap DD. I'd hate to get it keyed after it's repainted.

looks like it's down to the metal. you'll have to get it painted. about all you can do is call your insurance and hope your deductible isn't too high.

 

yea man that sucks for now what u should do is get some touch paint go over the whole thing. then wait like a day or 2 then wetsand around it really light with some 2500 or 3000 then polish the area .. and remember do it light so the touch up paint doesnt come off. this is just to get it even and make the touch up paint less noticeable

did you call any where to see what it would cost to fix? would be interesting to know. I would check Lexus, just to see how over priced they are. And then check at like carsmetics.

 

I'm waiting until my school week ends tomrrow. I'm gonna check out a few places tomorrow after class. I'll keep you guys posted.
