A very subtle drop : Tanabe NF210
So, I wanted pure aesthetics. I did not want a severe drop; the stock front end already scrapes occasionally. I did not need a sportier ride; coilovers would be overkill for my driving habits. So, I went with simple lowering springs but kept the stock struts.
In the end, I chose the most conservative drop that is available for the SC430, which are the Tanabe NF210 (NF = Normal Feeling) lowering springs. They are rated to drop the car only 0.9" in both the front and back. Very subtle, and perhaps too subtle for most modder's tastes. You can get an idea with these pics.
My car rides on 18"s; the same size wheels as the stock wheels. I did add spacers, with the front about 5mm from perfect flush, and the rear 10mm from perfect flush. I can ask for a little more of a drop, but I think these are fine.
Anyways, a BIG THANKS to:
--Richard (lyyca) for providing the Tanabe springs, and
--Tommy of MusicBox for installing them.

WITH THE SPRINGS:
I hope this helps with anyone contemplating on getting this set of springs...
