Annoying Vibration
So I've been dealing with this annoying vibration for a couple of months.
Symptoms:
-Starts around 50 and goes to about 80
-Vibration is exaggerated vigorously turning the wheel side to side at speed
- No bent wheels (2 new wheels from Lexus a month ago -told them to check suspension-they found nothing)
- Alignment is recent and in spec
- Tires have <5000 miles... wear on drivers side edges
-Took to local tire shop yesterday they said my pressure was too low and rotated -and that the suspension has no play.....Still There!
What could this be???
Thanks in advance

Could need better balancing, and/or, if your wheels have or need hubcentric rings and they're either not in the wheel or not seated properly you will get that vibration. If the "Lexus" wheels don't require hubcentric rings, try pulling the wheels off, turn them so they sit on different studs than they're on now, and tighten them back up. If the wheels aren't tightened onto the car perfectly, you will get vibrations, especially at the speeds you're indicating. Our SCs are particularly sensitive to this.... GL.
when I picked up my 04 I had a real quick and violent vibration. rattled the windshield at speed.
first I went to a tire shop that had a 'road force' balancing machine.
it's very expensive and lots of tire/service place don't have it.
road force balancing is the only way to go.
vast improvement after that.
eventually I went all the way with new wheels and pilot sport a/s conventional tires, with nitrogen.
run flats just aren't appropriate at this stage in their development.
that did it for me. a great ride, not vibration.
hope that helps.

Hmm - couldn't be the rotors are the rotors/pads are brand new all around (and no vibration when braking)- I guess I will give this roadforce balancing a try... Wheels are OEM Pie Plates. How might belts be separated on new tires??

Dealerships sometimes forget to mount them in the proper direction.... this can cause noise, vibration, and many times, belt separation. (Check the direction arrow on the side of the tires.)
