I was bored yesterday and decided to do a little painting on the grill and fog light areas with some black paint. I like the new look because it gives the plain silver color a bit more contrast.
It's a PITA to keep these areas clean and with light colored cars, it's even more difficult to keep the dirt away.
Lexus should've placed mesh grills around the fog lights like what Mercedes has done.

Looks great, anytime you can give more contrast to a silver or white SC the better. That's why those two colors look great with the saddle interior.

That is Sweet! I was thinking about doing the exact same thing to my car but have been stalling. Can you post some more pictures, maybe a few closer up?
Here's a close up of the paint job. I just masked off the area and spray painted. For the areas that required a bit more detail, I used a paint brush first. It took me about 20 minutes to do it. If my wife didn't have to run off to work, I would have put more coats of paint on it.
