Dyno testing update
An update on my earlier posting on my intention to do three dyno tests on my SC430. As posted earlier, the first test was run on a "bone stock" car. No tune up, no special preperation. Resulted in 212hp 230tq. This is what is expected. About a 30% drop from SAE net of 300hp.
The next two test will be done this weekend. I have installed a modified Injen Ram Air Intake (I fully insulated the kit and built an insulated cool box with Home Depot materials for around $30.00). The third test will be with Injen and with the muffler removed. I'm anxious to see the results of the Injen addition and then the additional results with the muffler removed.........STAY TUNED FELLAS! I will also try to add some pictures. The car has some very subtle paint mods done by the dealer for me.
