Default Mr first Zaino clean-up

I thought I'd post pics of a days labor. Wash-Zaino clay treatment-Zaino polish. Lot of work, but happy with the results. It is great to have a car where it looks as good with top up or down!!! Here's my baby it great 80 degree weather.

Best mod is Lexlink with rear quarter window--used ALL the time. You don't actually hold that button all the time, do ya?

This 02 only has 27K miles on it-everyone thinks its new--except forum members who know the difference.

I'm about to give my car the clay treatment. I've never done it before. Any suggestions?

I found the claybar that Zaino makes easy to use. I had bought one of their kits that include car wash, claybar, 2 polishes, leather cleaner and conditioner, and tire dressing. I plan on using it all, but at this point used the car wash, claybar, and one of the polishes with an enhanser (?). I am very happy with the looks at this point. It also suggests that you first wash the car with Dawn dishwash soap to remove all other waxes/polishes. I am following all their directions and looks great so far.

Solman, you make all SC owners proud of your day's work. the car looks great, how much was that Zaino kit you used ?? I"m tempted to try it , though my cars already look good, but they can always lok better.

i got the more expensive kit that also included leather because of a bad experience with another leather cleaner--fortunately tried it in a area that is hard to see. so i decided i would use top of the line only and zaino is talked up quite a bit on this forum. i am a first time user. price was $116. another thing i added was a bucket that is really cool--has a dirt catcher at the bottom so you dont get dirt or grime back on the car. my philosophy is too go only with the best--i have a great car and would be quite upset if i changed that by using unproven products.

Your philosophy is identical to mine, my engine compartment is cleaner than 98% of all US kitchens, my friends think I'm nuts ! I'll have to try that bucket. Thanks for the info on the Zaino pkg.
