Your DRL is disabled most likely. Did you have DRL before the conversion?

Yes I did. Maybe I'll hook up an old headlight tomorrow to see if this will work with '02 headlights also.

It is a little strange since I and GammaLex still have DRL after conversion.
My US 02 and 07 headlight plus Japan 08 headlight all have DRL.
DRL can be diabled by Lexus dealers.

Take a closer look tomorrow to see where that light is really coming from.

Yes, if and only if you turn on the engine.

DRL will be on ONLY your engine is running.
If you only turn on the light switch, DRL won't be on.

i just replaced those 168 bulbs your talking about with LED bulbs, and during the day i still get the DRL yellow light (coming through the 9005 high beam at half voltage). but at night, with my low beams on, i get a nice white color that matches my HIDs (through the LEDs that i replaced the 168 with). i believe that your DRLs have already been turned off through CBEST settings and you just dont know it. either its that, or when you pull out those 168 bulbs and dont replace them with another bulb, it just stops the DRLs from working.

I've never been to a dealer to have them work on CBST settings since owning the car.

Last night I started my car and there was no light at all coming from the headlights. I then tried with parking lights on and nothing. Turned on HID and no light, same with high beams.

I will take pics tonight like TW did.

try starting the car, and release the parking brake. then go out and take a look at the lights. im 100% sure the DRLs should come on.
