Hey bjhille does your 06 have the sealed license plate housing with the led the circuit board. I was wondering if I could just get the 05 and before housing cut the wires on the 06 and splice the o5 with bulbs to the existing wires. I am not sure if that is what you did. Appreciate you letting me know. Thanks

Led license plate assembly
I'm in exactly the same situation as you. Have been looking at StillLine's post and looking at the wiring on my SC430 and decided it looks too compliacted for me to do, so I have just today ordered the new light assembly from my dealer. $206 CAD plus tax. I should be able to replace without getting the dealership to do it for me but it's still a pain in the pocket just for licence plate bulbs!
