Could be you blew your fuse? I had the same problem when I installed all my interrior lights to aftermarket bulbs.

Good question. Cuz last time when my trunk lights and interriors lights didnt work after installing them, the blown-out fuse, if i remember it correctly, was located right under the glove carpartment. I'm not sure if the licesense plate lights are connected to same fuse, however. Hmm, can anyone help answer this one?

Did you check your owner's manual?
That license lamp fuse is most likely located in the rear trunk if you can't find it elsewhere.

Yes the fuse box is inside the trunk. It's the fuse labeled 7.5.
Now...can someone tell me how to change the license plate lights? I have the assembly out but it won't come apart.
thx

Maybe you can post a pic of the license plate light assembly.
I think 06+ use led light unlike 02-05 that use 194/168 bulbs.

Here is a pic of the assembly. I took the screws out but couldn't get anything to budge.

yup.. you must have an 06+ SC430.

I just looked at the Lexus parts list and it shows you need to get the whole thing replaced. It will probably cost you $150.
I am thinking doing the upgrade, too.

the guys that did my state inspection passed the car even though the license lights weren't working and told me they would let lexus give me the sticker shock instead....guess they weren't kidding.
