what's the most reputable and reliable chip upgrade for our cars?
i am a new owner of 02 sc430. just wondering who is/are the most reputable and reliable ecu or performance chip maker for our cars? or do they even exist?
i am not going all out on fixing the car. just like to have a bit more power or a more linear power curve. that's all

There's an interesting thread in the IS-F forum about one of the forum sponsors, MHP. If I understand correctly, they have the ability to reflash your existing ecu, and have the ability to do the tranny ecu, too.
I didn't know until after I bought the Lexus how limited aftermarket performance mods were.
Hell, you can get a chip for a Vette at your local Auto Zone.
I think the other option is piggy-backing (soldering) a chip to the existing ecu.
There's just not the demand to justify a business focusing on this market, so our choices are limited, but at least when we find something, it's expensive...
