Default Nav Upgrade from 2002 version?

I'm still on the original version in my 2002 SC430. For those of you that have upgraded, is there any difference other than updated maps/streets?

That may depend on development in your area.

I agree.... I upgraded about 8mos. ago and the only changes I've noticed are additional 'Points of Interest', which I keep turned off anyway. Those who've realized the most additions when upgrading tend to live in areas that are expanding and building-up quickly when compared to areas that are already saturated with roads/'Points of Interest', etc. By the way, I live in downtown Chicago....

Since you said "other than the updated maps/streets", I'm assuming that you're talking about the software and interface itself.

I have a 2003 with the 2006 (ver. 6.1) disk. There's a fellow CL member that I've met who has a 2002 with the 2001 version and I saw a BIG difference when I played with it. Much fewer menu options (we didn't do a side-by-side comparison but, we both felt the difference was significant). One thing we noticed was that on his older version, he didn't have the "Language" option which is the screen you need to access to override the lockout while you're driving.
