Default remote Fob not working

hi, have 02 with 110K....
both of my remotes do not 'work'.... batt seems ok.... if both are not working at the same time, i figure it's the receiver side/car....

i do have the luxlink by lux motors..... steve says it shouldn't have anything to do with it since their system operates on received sig via the main receiver ?....anyway, what's the differential diagnosis here?

the LED does light up on the keys....

Sure, it sounds like a coincidence that both batteries would fail at the same time, but both were probably installed at the same time so it's possible. Before going through some hoops, why not spend two bucks and replace the batteries, just to eliminate that cause from the equasion. The "send" fails long before the LED, in my experience.

I've got a LuxLink and I go through about 3 batteries a year. Really eats them up.
