Default Lexus Roadside??

Going on a trip and don't carry a spare. Have Lexus roadside maintance (came with my pre-owned certification). Should I also get AAA or will Lexus roadside provide the same? I read that Lexus calls AAA, however, my Lexus paperwork says they will only pay to tow to a Lexus dealer. Sounds like if I am not near a Lexus dealer and need flat fixed then it might be worthwhile getting AAA? Thanks for any advise.

If a Lexus Technician isn't available to help you at the time, then Lexus Roadside will send AAA.

If Lexus Tech is not available and Lexus Roadside sends AAA will I have to pay to have car towed to closest service center or will Lexus Roadside cover it?

I recommend AAA for peace of mind. It does have more versatility than Lexus Service. (And even with Premier AAA, it pays for itself with half a dozen hotel stays.)

I've never had to use either service for my Lexus, but I do enough open road driving, that it makes it worth it for peace of mind.

I too have thought about this but the only reason I keep my AAA membership is in the case I am driving my daily. Otherwise, I wouldn't keep my AAA. Besides, 1. who is to say you're going to drive a Lexus forever and 2. it's not that expensive; as stated before, it's piece of mind.
