All I know is that in the frog-strangling thunderstorms we get in TX, the water does make a difference with the 3-pc wheels above 60 mph. Really serious oscillation.

water in the barrel of any rim is gonna give major problems. I have a can of compressed air in my trunk, when it gets crazy i stop at the rest stop and spray it all out
Tony-
Been subscribed to your classified thread since it was new, and looked at your ad about 1,000 times already I really like them but decided on a different style (Astra), in black, too (My SC is black). Anybody w/a set of used 20" Black Astras w/SC offsets for sale?

My only point was that it happens on 2 and 3 piece wheels.

Morris - I meant to thank you for that information - sorry I didn't respond earlier. For areas where the possibility of violent thunderstorms and associated downpours is high, I think that potential customers for any reverse rim wheels needs to understand the possibility of an unstable front end at normal highway speeds of 60-75mph. If the rest of the traffic is traveling at 65-75 and we have to slow to 50-55mph, then the speed differential creates an unsafe and dangerous situation.
Thanks, Cecil
