SC430 handling/tire/rims problem?
I don't have a spare. From what I heard from this board, it cost approx $1000 to have a spare mounted. How can it be that expensive??
I think we still can call Lexus Roadsite Assistance even if we don't have RF.
I'll check with my dealer how much it cost to buy a spare. If it's expensive ($1000) I won't buy it. But if it's relatively not expensive, I'll buy it and bring it when I travel.
Also I found out from this board that if you use fix-a-flat, it can ruin your tire pressure sensor. I am not sure how much those sensor cost.
Anyway, if you have RF when it's punctured, you have to purchase a new one (expensive I heard -> 600 bucks/tire).

The only difference that I have any knowledge of, is that the Good Year RF Tire seems to sells for quite a bit more than the Bridgestone. Dealers say it's because Bridgestone got on board with Lexus at the start of the game, and based on volume of the original Order of RF's, they were able to offer Lexus a better Discount. Who REally knows for sure?
The only other difference that I can tell between these two R F's, is that the Bridgestone seems to be always "Searching" for a Dealership (of which there do not seem to be near as many as for Goodyear), whereas the Goodyears seem to have a nasty habit of always trying to "Dart" into every Goodyear Store that they see!
In this sense, the Goodyears do experience Much More "Noise" than the Bridgestones, because they "Squeal like Pigs" when I have to pull real hard on the steering wheel, to bring 'em back accross the Center Line of the Road!
Of course, when I'm driving down through the hills and hollows of West Virginia, have the windows down, and crank up the 9-Speaker Stereo playing the music from the Movie "Diliverence", no one down there really seems to pay much mind at all!
