very nice!!!!!! so the sides are led, but the low beam is also led? or just a ring of led, and then still HID bulb? (i think it's the latter case).

for the turn signal, how does it work? light up white and orange?

and the high beam, it's superwhite bulb? i don't think one single led can be bright enough?

You know I'm not sure what Mike did but whatever it was it's ROCKS!! The guy is the genius of lighting!!
The turn signals are white and then when engaged they kick on amber LEDS. That's the same for the running lights on the front and rear as well.
The dreaded yellowish DRLs are pure white now which I'm real happy about.

You are correct about the low beams. The high beams I'm not sure probably a bulb change with LEDS.

He's invested a lot of money in the latest tooling and sealing technologies in his shop. He's real serious about this stuff. He's also working on a different version of the 06 taillights which I'm anxious to see.

I thought about an 06 conversion for a long time but then I ran across his site and thought custom would be a way cooler way to go.

very nice stuff, BT that's some serious work there for sure. it's pretty much a lot of work for EVERY location in the headlights

 

The led conversion was beautifully done, but I am still shocked by the price tag.

it is direct plug in. you send in your headlights for them to work on, and then return to you

Ouch $1680 not counting painting the inside? www.AACstyle.com does the same work for cheaper and there an approved vendor. Me and Mike over there are working on my 06+ headlights. I guess it helps that there in my backyard LOL

 

let's wait for your headlights to come back and then we can compare the quality. i am not ditching anyone, but AAC didn't have that good of a reputation before.

on the other hand i have seen the work by this company. very high grade that's for sure
