i bought the car with 3500km on it. now it has 4500. i just read the manual and it says your suposed to take it into inspection at 1600km. how do i know if the previous owner has taken it to them? there is no stamp on the service booklet. what does the inspection do? thanks.

 

Just pop into any Lexus dealership and go to service where they will run the VIN number to see if the 1,600 kms service was done.. As for what they do on that service it is mainly a visual inspection of tires, suspension components and other minor things (Wiper adjustment).. I also made them change my oil on this visit before the 8,000 kms visit where I made them change it again.. A bit **** on my part but i've always made this a practice when I break in a new engine.. Did you get your SC through a dealership or elsewhere??
