Default Illuminated Scuff Plates

In case someone is planning to upgrade the scuff plates to match his upgraded super white LED interior lights.

i would prefer 06-07, not feeling anything on the 08

btw, i believe the 06-07 here has the blue light, is that right? so japan has different ones?

Are those OEM scuff plates? I wanted to change the color of my amber colored scuff plates in my 05 RX330 (front and rear) to white, to match the upgraded white interior lights that I previously changed. Just wondering if anyone has DIY replaced the LED's in any Lexus scuff plates.

Yes, those are OEM parts for SC430, not after market ones.
They are around $200 per pair.

I though they should be blue, but that Japanese guy who did this upgrade said the output is white on his 02-05 uzz40.

that's very sweet, i like white a lot more. if it's not that the 06 here had blue, i would probably have upgraded back then

200 bucks is pretty cheap for this

the 06/07 look very nice, especially if they light up in white.

Great upgrade for only $200, especially if you want that uniform looking interior at night.

I know they make non-oem ones for GS and LS.

Since Lexus IS is very popular, some company might decide to produce one for you guys in the future.

Maybe you can do a DIY job by replacing the amber film backing with a clear one.

I have seen someone change it to yellow.
