New SC430
This message is to report that on Saturday, January 11, 2002, we took possession of our new Indigo InK/Ecru SC430. We ordered it August 3, 2001. The build date was December 1, 2001. We had the Lexus dealer check to see that all service bulletins had been complied with based on comments we read on this message board.
We got the works: spoilor, wheel locks, cargo net, trunk mat and, based on the pictures from Genearch, we got chrome wheels. We also got an extended warranty (which we usually don't get, but we did so this time because of all the computers and the retractable roof).
The car is quite beautiful and we are extremely pleased. This was our first Lexus and the dealar, Lexus of Oxnard (California), did a great job.
The run flat tires seem to work just fine. In fact, to us, they seem much better than expected based on various comments on this message board.
With 124 miles on the odometer, we look forward to many days of fun and enjoyment and trying to remember how to work all the gadgets. Finally, the audio system is simply amazing.

The Indigo colour was my second choice but with Black interior.. My dealership tells me that is the scarciest colour out there for the SC430.. So not only do you have rare beast but also a rare colour! Just thought I would pass that along.. The chrome and the blue should look sweet!

Wow....I got my SC in 3 weeks.....they actually had 2 one was on the showroom floor and I said no way. The funny thing is the dealership had about 10 others on the lot and all were spoken for. Maybe its because they are pretty much the largest dealership. Otherwise I dunno, but congrats on getting your car.
