You did not read the whole sentence.
I said: I don't use ECT unless I'm racing ( and I have no reason to).
I'm 65, I don't have a reason to race, hence, I don't need to use ECT PWR. Period.
OK, I think we have enough of this ECT discussion. so please, drop it. I will not reply any of your post pertain to this subject.
Have a great day.

Thank you for sharing the transmission adjustment. So looking forward to doing that on the next oil change. On a totally different topic, has anyone found a way to speed up the steering rate/ratio on the SC430?

Also, according to them the factory "part" number for the fluid is CQ426. I'm sure someone on here can confirm or deny though.

Default Full circulation of drain and refill?

Does the new fluid inserted under "drain and refill" above eventually circulate through the rest of the transmission system, or are these sealed systems? (The dealer rep was trying to convince me the torque converter is sealed and it fluid never needs changing.)

Does the "drain and refill" include cleaning the magnets and the oil strainer? If not, is there a scheduled service that does do this? What is it called?

What interval is all the fluid changed?

The transmission fluid will circulate the entire system, to include the torque converter.
i usually do a drain and refill every 12k-15k miles...it’s easier than an oil change.
been using Valvoline MaxLife ATF for years in my cars and no issues.

i have never dropped the Pan to clean the magnets, for some reason, I thought the plug had a magnet but I must be thinking of my Accord.

Lag on downshifts is noticeably reduced. Shifts feel somewhat firmer. Definitely a worthwhile improvement.
