I plan to replace my engine air filter soon. I tend not to force things and I also tend to destroy things that don't work the way I expect they should, so I have to get this straight up front.
There are two bolts securing the cover. I expect that removing those bolts and lifting the cover straight up will reveal the air filter. I also expect that the old filter can simply be lifted out and the new one dropped in.
I realize this sounds like the filter replacement procedure for a 1953 Ford, but why would it be any different?
There shouldn't be bolts to remove the cover. There are however, roughly 2 latches on each side which can be opened with a flick of your fingers. As stated before, no more than 5 minutes. Good luck.

Exactly... there are no bolts.... simple latches... I think there are 4 or 5 in total.
