Modding weekend backup camera/dvd
I got a little work done on the car this weekend. I installed an Injen, strut bar and dvd player and backup camera. The camera is pretty trick the navtool does a good job. I installed the dvd player in the center console which is OK but if I had to do over I probably should have put in in the glovebox, but the player I had was a little too big. One problem I ran into was now the nav doesn't adjust the brightness at night and does not display the night color. Has anyone else experienced that?
Thanks

Mine works fine, adjustments and all.
Which back up camera did you go with?
I may have bought the same one you did the first time around as it's really too big about 1" wide and 2.5" long. I just popped it in on the flat spot on the bumper cover above the license plate. It doen't look great but it was more of an experiment in location as I'm replacing the rear bumper and will have to find a better location and a much smaller camera once I get the new bumper cover. What did you end up using?
