Default 2002 Lexus SC430 Without Nav?

Just wanted to see if anyone else has seen a 2002 Lexus SC430 without a navigation system? When I was shopping for a 2002 SC back in 2005 I actually saw a used one at a Mercedes-Benz dealer that didn't have a navigation system. The wood was just one piece that went across where the nav would have been. It looked really odd (could be because I'm used to expecting the nav door to be there).

Do you know how common nav-less SC's are?

Very rare and applies to only the 2002 models I believe.
Everyone I have seen had nav.

My car is one of those nav-less cars and happens to be that rare dark green/sadle color as well . On the bright side I will be adding some ICE with nav so the fact that the car didnt come with doesnt bother me as much

that's very rare cause all '02's and up should come fully loaded w/ all the trimmings unless it's a tire/wheel combo dealership option or the PB edition.

I have personally seen only a couple without a NAV, they are indeed very rare, & I think it looks a lot better with the NAV door on the dash.

When I purchased my 2002 SC-430 back in Nov 2001, our local dealer had three SC-430's without the NAV, said they all came from a Canadian dealer who was not able to sell them up there in the winter. My recollection is that they where all red.

In my quest to join the ranks of SC430 owners on here, I test drove one today without NAV. I had no idea this was even an option! It was a dealbreaker for me, unless he comes back with a DRASTICALLY reduced price...For the record it was a 2002 Blue/Black...I'm thinking the black leather would be too hot in the summer anyway (it was almost 100 here in Atlanta today!)

There were two options on the first year (2001-2002) SC430; navigation and spoiler delete. That was it.

The percentage of buyers requesting the navigation option was so great, that Lexus abandoned the option midway thru 2002, and put nav in all of them. This is why you see so few nav-less SC's.

My 2005 does not have a navigation. Looks just like the picture Talwang posted.
