I've done the due dilegence and plan on getting a SC430 in the next few weeks. I'm probably going to get a slightly used one.

Can anyone help me with the major differences between the model years?

I think 2005 was the beginning of the new "non-pie plate" wheels and also the beginning of Bluetooth. At some point, the rear tail lamps changed, but I'm not sure when that was.

Do I have these right? What are the other major differences and what year did they occur?

 

The 2006 came with several changes. The main ones are new tail lights, a new 6-speed transmission, and adapative front lighting system. Others here on the forum have listed them many times, search and you will find!

The 05 model in the UK does not have the dinner plate wheels, but does not have the 06 wheels shown on the Lexus site.
