Has anyone attempted to "clear out" their 02'-04' tails? I did this mod on my GS and loved the look. Or are these made like the 01' & up GS tails where they cannot be cleared?

Im talking about removing the amber circle on the tail light. Perhaps it is just an amber lens that if removed could possibly make the tailight have a clear turn signal or make the tails red/clear instead of amber/red.

I think you cannot remove it unless maybe there is a bolt the hangs onto it. If thats the case then you'd have to oven the tailights and thats messy work. I think it looks better with the turn signal....BTW how does it look on ur GS?

No, it's one piece. Believe me, I've looked. Get the updated tail lights. There are several people who have already done it and it looks good.

seeing how the 01+ gs taillights are done, i don't think these would be any different. i agree with dan, might as well get the 06+
