Like all cars, the reviews are all over the board in terms of numbers. I have seen from 5.8 0-60 to 6.3. 1/4 from 14.3 to 14.7. It all depends on where the testing occurred and under what conditions. Mine is around low 5's and a tad above 14 according to Gtech with hopes to bring that lower with the torque converter.

For a 02 SC430 with the 5-speed auto transmission, the "official" 0-60 mph time listed by Lexus is 5.9 sec. The fastest I have seen the car mags got is 6.1 sec. 0-60 , but from all sources I have seen, it's between 5.9 to the high 6's 0-60 & mid-14 to low-15 sec. 1/4 mile. Of course the times do vary under different conditions of testing & the drivers etc.

Did you find a way to disable the CEL for the TQ?

Not yet installed. Waiting for Todd over at TMengineering. He has been very busy of late so I may just go the NOS route in the meantime. Or if I find some time, install the TC myself. I just hate the smell of trans fluid.

I am very interested how this turns out. This is exactly the type of modding I like. If you can find a way to disable the CEL light on a 430 engine that would be awesome.
