Hey guys, I am looking for someone that can mail me a recent parts fiche for the SC430 (doesn't need to be the MOST recent) so I can scan it and get it online.

Also, I have made the PDF electrical wiring guide for the 2002 SC430 available for download here.

I recently bought a microfiche scanner ($1500!) with the idea that I could start getting fiche up for Toyota and Lexus enthusiasts. Since I own an SC430 I am going to start there.

Hmm, I just downloaded and tested the ZIP file and it worked just fine. Can someone else please veryify that it works or fails?

tfischer, it appears that it may be your computer that is having a problem. I compressed the PDF files (it isn't just one, it is many) into one ZIP on my Windows XP machine. Are you using XP?

 

Worked great for me both on my Mac and a server I've got running Windows 2003.

 

Also shows 'corrupted' on my computer. Must be we don't have the proper 'zip' software, or whatever the computer needs to open that thing. Oh well. And yes, I have Windows XP.

I had the same problem as ELP.

Nothing on my computer would unzip the files, even WinRar, and I have downloaded and unzipped many, many files over the years.

Spinout very kindly sent me the file via email. I had to change the extension of that file because my email firewall or something changed the extension and gave me a little warning message, but it unzipped perfectly after that.

I still have no idea why the file would give a corrputed signal on the original download here, but the fact that someone else had the same result makes me think that Microsoft is after us.

PS: It's a great resource, and the sharing of docs like that is just one of the many advantages of checking in here on a regular basis.

seen the fiche on ebay for like $20 before
