Can anyone offer any advice regarding the removal of the spoiler? Has anyone done it?

I'd like to have mine removed, but I don't know what the ramifications might be. My dealer has not removed any yet and I'm not sure I want to be the first.

 

As far as GS models go if you remove the rear spoiler you will have holes in your trunk and no third brake light, which comes standard in the back window, without the spoiler option.
