I recently paid $37k for a very clean black on black 03 with 30k miles. Sounds like your friend has found a great deal assuming no accidents / clean title.

 

I spent $44K on a '03 back in November. It only had 16k miles on it, and was in showroom condition. The door panels buzz a bit from the killer bass in the stereo, and there are a few creaks from all the sumptuous materials. If the one your friend saw has no accidents etc it sounds like a good deal.

 

I paid $39K for a 02 in January with 22K miles so that is a great price for an 03.

oop it was 41k not 31 sorry but stil it sounds reasonable we are gonna go drive it today (thurs 4/6) thanks hey are there any problmes to look for? I have read the faq and we will look at the seem for the roof but the cars seem very reliable. thanks again
