Default Question for those with Wald body kits.

Is it just me or is it that no matter how hard I try, how hard I angle my approach on some dips and driveways, I will scrape the bottom of the front? It didn't last me the complete drive home until I heard a long, slow scccrrrraaaaapppppeeee. It seemed longer since 1) it was brand new, and 2) I was driving really slow. Any suggestions without redoing my driveway, moving, or am I just to live with it? Thanks for your opinion.

well, must be you

seriously, when we first got our wald kits, it was a pain to drive. my wife scraped the first week, and i scraped the first time i drove it. mind you we are both used to driving lowered cars already so we know well about angling and stuff... the kit is just low, so nothing you can do

but now after almost a yr driving, we got much much better at it already, so unless we missed something or it's some ridiculous driveways or bumps, we are fine

it's ok, you just need more practice to make you feel better, by now the bottom of our front lip is all scraped up already! we do have thick expel there for protection though

Wow, the main reason I did not get this kit. Tooo low! This afternoon while traveling around (hidden) mph I slammed into a large rock about 7" tall which banged the converter flange up though no serious damage. Had I had that Wald kit on...

if you had the wald kit on? well, at least maybe you saved the converter flange

seriously, the other week my wife called and said she hit those blow up tire pieces on the hwy.... sigh, needless to say, nothing cracked, but now we have some deep black marks on the front clear bra that will need some seriously rubbing..... and my car is white

the wald kit looks soo nice though . Do the side skirts dip as low as the front lip? Just because those side skirts are my second favorite, I would like to match them up with another front lip. If I could afford the TOM's I would get those instead

new york is a whole different world when it comes lowering your car and having kits, I envy you guys that can do this elsewhere, I think it's the last mod I'll do because our roads and driveway entries are terrible. I could get the kit but lowering it also might be more a problem.

my car doesn't see salt or snow and won't come out until spring. I can't be mad for being born in brooklyn, raised in Queens and buying a SC430. I'll take the good and the bad weather when it's here, mother nature doesnt care
