Default 2005 SC430 Lowering help

Anyone here with an '05 SC430 who have lowered their car? If so, HOW? I went to several tuners, and they said I can not lower it. I put 20" symbolic wheels, and the car looks like my HUMMER. The wheel gap is too big. HELP!

I believe some of the members here have their 05/06 SC430 lowered with Tein CS coilovers.

yes, tm engineering can help you

the tein cs WILL fit on the sc no problem. i have it, gsxotic have it, it will work

if you get just springs then no they won't fit. but tein cs is full swap and it will work no problem

I have a 05 and I just installed the Tein Cs. THere is no problem with them. It rides way way better then stock. I have all the perches lowered to the max.

tein cs is height adjustable of course, and you can put it on stock height if you want

or even higher if you REALLY want

When at a garage and installing the Tein cs, how do you know which setting out of the many that there are? I am just looking for a starting or reference point. I mean is there a factory height setting that is marked. Then lets say you only want to drop it an inch you would drop it by 1 setting? Most shops are not familiar with this car and suspension, so you don't want them adjusting the settings a thousand times?

i *think* in the installation manual it talks about a reference recommended height, you can take a look at that

my job was just so experienced already he started out with a very good drop to begin with

but yeah, a thousand times, that sounds about right

Just leave 1 inch from the lowest setting and you should be fine. I have my fronts and rears turned all the way down. I can still get over speedbumps. THe plastic wind deflector things are kinda scraped up tho. But the car looks nice with the wheels tucking.
