Lee, did you ever resolve the high rpm dropoff on your RMM setup? I am wondering if the headers would help with FI cars.

Most definitely JP430 is the only one that has posted any FI/ S&S header results. He had the LMS S/C intalled and dynoed his car just after the S/C install and after the header install. It was done on a Mustang dynoed it is in MPH as oppose to RPM.

Forget the hp peak, the tq is where it is at with the headers. Huge drivability improvements in the car.

Actually that's roughly $40 per HP gain. (Lets talk parts cost not incl labor) Pretty good compared to what you might get from an SRT intake.

I'm sure most have spent more than $500 on an exhaust and the gain is def not 17HP.

Take a supercharged RMM Supercharger set up. YOU WILL BE LUCKY if you can yield $40 per HP going FI (again parts cost w/o factoring in labor).

THERE ARE NO MODS for Lexus that will yield significantly more power per dollar than this.

You gotta pay to play.

And I guess if you wanna save money on labor, sometimes you gotta bleed to play.

ONLY 17RWHP?? don't forget 28lbs RWTQ. I know the install is more involved than simple plug n play headers but those #'s are pretty good for headers. It is usually the big bore engines and FI engines that get big #'s by adding a header. just my $.02

Plus this mod will greatly benefit and increase the HP & TQ #'s if you decide to go FI.
What problems are you running into w/ the driver's side?

As posted above in my install tips, be careful of the dipstick on the drives side. This plus the steering wheel coupler makes things more complicated but easily doable with patience. Bending the dipstick is not an option as it supposed to seal on the bottom into the oil pan. Otherwise there will be a leak.

Mark the steering wheel coupler well to avoid a misaligned wheel. Otherwise you can just correct it by pulling the steering wheel as access to the coupler is difficult with the cat bolted up.

Let us know if we can be of more help. PM me for my number if you feel a phone call would help

Judging by the numbers on the dyno. It looks like everything was well worth the effort!

He He
SOrry for not replying to your email Tony but I have not had a chance to go out in the garage to match up my Tundra and SC manifolds. Will see later but I do not believe so.
