It works for my 2005 lx470
Steps……..
1. Select Display from the NAV keys
2. From this touch-screen screen, do the following…
a. Touch in the blank space just below the word “DISPLAY” (on the touch-screen)
b. Then touch in the blank space just above the contrast “minus“ symbol (on the touch-screen)
c. And REPEAT those two touches 4 times, or until the NAV screen display changes.
3. WAIT for a few seconds until the system runs check test and the “OK” lights come on.
4. Touch “menu” at the top.
5. Touch the “BT voice quality set” button.
6. Touch “set”. This will reset the level values.
7. Raise or lower each setting using the arrows.
8. When you have them set like you want them, touch “MENU” to save the settings.
9. Now, just to be sure that the settings were saved, Touch the “BT voice quality set” button again.
If they are saved, just hit “menu” again.
10. To EXIT these menu’s, PRESS AND HOLD the NAV “display” button (step #1 above)until the
screen goes off.
My settings for my phone work best at -1 and -2.
Fyi, changing the “voice quality” box to different numbers 0-4 does nothing as far as I can tell, at least with my phone.
