i see some advertised as Black Cherry
it doesn't look as if it was an official colour
have these been repainted?

I notice that you spell it "colour", then I noticed that you were in Ontario. The chart that I made is only for US colors. Are the advertisements in Canada or the US?

 

I'm in Canada, & the paint on my SC430 is called "Midnight Cherry" here, which is exactly the same paint as "Twilight Amethyst Pearl" in the U.S.

I have never heard of a "Black Cherry" paint for the SC430, but maybe they just got it wrong, & is actually referring to the "Midnight Cherry", the official name for the paint ?

Yes the car looks as if it's a black car under the shade, it's a very dark purple.

2009 information was just emailed to me. All colors stay the same as 2008 except for the deletion of Twilight Amethyst.

 

I thought 2009 opaline pearl was added as a new color.

Dude how many freakin silvers are there? And mines 02 sc430 and its silver.. so which is it?

 

It is Millennium Silver Metallic, the only silver from 02-05. 06-09 is Mercury Metallic. (my 2002 is MSM also hehe)

 

2010 colors have been announced. All colors remain the same, with the exception of Costa Azul Mica replacing Tigereye Mica. Here is a photo of Costa Azul Mica on the LX570.

 

I know it's best to remain silent unless you have something good to say, but I can't do it. I REALLY don't like that color.
