I also bought a set from Luxurycarparts on Ebay, and they are ABSOLUTELY not the right size! I did not discover this until weeks later when I went to replace my current chrome emblems, and I had already sent feed-back :cry. I did not check when I received them:.... too late to do a thing about it , but it was my fault for not checking the size when I got them.

These are a waste of money and are to big. The front looks like crap. Consider yourself lucky if you got the right ones, but I am stuck with these now.

These e-bay sellers are selling something that does not fit, but then, they don't say it will, so technically they are not violating the rules.

All I can say is if anyone is looking for the black chrome emblems for their SC, they should avoid L.C.P. on e-bay at all costs because you are likely to get a bunch of crap that will not fit (by the way, I will sell them if anyone wants them ,but they won't fit a 2003 SC430 )

... I also sent a message to Luxurycarparts letting them know that the "jig is up" and they are selling useless emblems. Let's see if they care as I also noted that folks on the Forum were aware of the crap they are pulling.... neve know, they may take care of those of us who have giant emblems?

Sorry to hear of your experiences. Mine are perfect, even the front. In fact I ended up with a second rear logo emblem that I did not use. Put it aside in case someone likes the one on my car in a parking lot.

Either my 2003 SC430 "shrunk" in the N. CA rain last year , (as it seems the case with others) or they are selling a hodge-podge of different sizes on e-bay . In either case, looks like Peal was the only one on the FORUM who was able to obtain the correct size emblems....

I once picked up an emblem kit years ago for my SC300. Same experience as some of you here, wrong size emblems. But I was able to get the right size after some communication. Then he had the (*&(*& to try to charge me for those.

This is why always pay via Paypal nowadays as much as I do not care for them.

 

FYI,
I let LuxaryCarParts know and Mr. Lui requested some information. He now has that and as they say. the ball is in his court.

LCP has the opprortunity to correct the problem, and I suspect those on the FORUM will be watching closely.

The seller hk_plus, on the other hand, would never reply to buyers' emails.
He will only respond when you leave him negative feedback.
I had to go through Paypay to get the refund. It is a long story.....
Paypal denied my claim because I hadn't sent it back with a tracking number.

You know only EMS comes with a tracking number and EMS is very expensive.
Plus the returned shipping fee won't be refunded.
I sent it back by air mail with insurance and showed paypal the pics of the receipt.
Still, paypal denied my claim just because I don't have a tracking number for them to verify.
Now the crook hk_plus has both the money and items and I end up losing $80+.
The sad thing is I can't do nothing about it.
I guess the best protection for you is just not to buy from them.

 

can anyone tell me the actual size of the front & rear "L" emblem on the 2004 sc430? I am away from my car and wont be back for another month, otherwise i would have measured myself. thanks in advance guys. ( I have searched & cannot find )
